FAQ

  • How long should my cleanse last?
    A solid three days is a good amount of time to give your body a chance to detoxify. After doing research about the detox process, keep in mind that this is a very personal process. Everyone has their own goals and limitations. No matter how long you decide to cleanse, make sure that you’re going at your own pace!
  • Should I only drink the provided beverages during the entire cleanse?
    During Stage 1 you are welcome to consume one light salad or soup to curb any cravings a day. We suggest that you eat this meal in the middle of the day to reduce the amount of energy your body will use on digestion at night during sleep. Definitely stay away from meals that use preservatives or ingredients that are not plant-based. Stage 2 & 3, in order to get your best result, we strongly recommend that you only consume the provided beverages. Drink water and herbal teas throughout the day to curb hunger as desired.
  • What should I eat after a cleanse?
    Allow some time before resuming your regular diet. We recommend that you break your fast with fruits on the first day to initiate the transition. It is best to start with one fruit per meal, as opposed to a mixed fruit salad. Observe how your body responds before deciding what to eat next. To protect your gut, we suggest you stay away from bread or other heavy foods for at least 1-2 days.
  • Should I drink my juices and smoothies in a particular order?
    The beverages in each cleanse program work harmoniously so that you can drink them in any order on a given day. We recommend that you drink a lot of water and save your juices and smoothies for when you feel hungry. Schedule your day so that you finish your last Juice & Me beverage at least 3 hours before you go to bed. If you do not feel full closer to bedtime, drink water or hot herbal tea.
  • Will I be very tired?
    This depends on your body, how well you hydrate, and how you regulate your meal substitutes. During the first few days, your body detoxifies intensely as digestion is no longer necessary, offering an extra supply of energy that can be utilized by other systems. Therefore, cleansing can support brain function and boost your immune system leaving you feeling more energized. Let serenity and peace come over you as you find that your body has everything it needs to face the day.
  • Is it okay if I drink coffee?
    Detoxification means that your body will be aggressively removing toxins. Since caffeine is a toxin, drinking coffee would be counterproductive. In some cases, the cleansing process can cause some discomfort, especially for those who drink caffeine regularly. One might experience a headache on and off for at least a day or two while cleansing. Be sure to hydrate and try to divert your attention to the good you are doing for yourself!
